Savvie's First Haircut

So now that Savvie is approaching her second birthday, it's time for a little haircut! We ended up "trimming" about 2.5 inches! We went to the same salon where we took Camp for his first cut. They have fun little car chairs, movies and toys, and most importantly, LOLLIPOPS! Savvie did amazingly well. She sat still and was just perfect during her cut. She did tear up a little (with watery eyes) which worried the hairdresser, but she was relieved to know it was just her allergies acting up! We all loved the new 'do! No if only Mommy could master the tiny little braid :) P.S. Thankfully the Easter Bunny brought her some new bows!

Easter 2016

My little bunnies sure did enjoy Easter this year! Camp's class had an egg hunt and picnic celebration at Wannamaker Park on the Thursday before Easter. Savvie got to join in the fun too. We love his class!
Her favorite thing to do right now is swing from bars.

Ready to hunt!

Super serious about the hunt.

Savs has a friend there, too!

And then on Sunday, we celebrated EASTER!!! He is Risen!!! The kids woke up to find their Easter baskets filled with with goodies from E.B. Then we went to the 10:00 ECBC church service with Nonna and Lou. We enjoyed a delicious and fun lunch at Waffle House following. It was raining so we didn't get too many pictures. Easter afternoon we did an inside egg hunt with our Resurrection eggs and then opened each egg and read through the Easter story. I love that tradition. We ended the night by reading the Berenstain Bears Easter book. Happy, happy, happy Easter.
