Trunk or Treat, Trick or Treat 2013

On Halloween, we got some good use out of Camp's new costume and new-to-him candy bucket. I was so worried that Camp wouldn't wear his hat because when we first tried it on after the purchase, he resisted completely. Turns out, he must have liked it, because he wore it practically all day! We had a play group "Trunk or Treat" during which all the kids dressed up and the moms led them along a path of candy picking. When all the rest of the kids were eating candy and making chocolate messes, Camp just wanted to go inside and play with the toy kitchen. He kept putting his candy loot in the microwave and oven. In the evening, we went over to the Porters' house for a pizza dinner with the Barnes family and trick-or-treating in their neighborhood. Camp was totally in his element with walking house to house (wasn't interested in riding in the wagon) and knocking on doors to say something that sounded vaguely like "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you candy!" He got so into it that he insisted on helping each homeowner close his door once the candy was distributed. It was such a fun day and night! And now, what's this about a bucket full of Halloween candy?
My trunk!

Cool pumpkin we saw that night...that's for you Webb!

Amazing themed dessert that Amanda made...so yummy!

Our fabulous hosts and their cutie pie tiger baby...probably the only time you'll see Clemson make my blog in such a positive light!

Pulling the door closed

Every little thing he does is magic!

Using his magic to turn him into a Gamecock!!!

All smiles from my little magician!
